Growing up, I was never the most athletic, so when I participated in my first 5K race in 2016, I was shocked to realise I enjoyed it. Since then I’ve done a number of races, my most recent being the Sagicor Sigma Run. Don’t get me wrong, I never sign up for these races with dreams of breaking any records. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing five reasons to sign up for a 5K race to help you make the decision in case you are undecided.
