As the heat bears down, there is no better time to seek solace along the shores of a beautiful beach. Jamaica is well known for its stunning beaches. As a Jamaican, I have had the pleasure of enjoying a few of these beaches. Since summer isn't over without a trip to the beach, in today's post, I will share my favourite must-visit beaches to escape the summer heat in Jamaica.

Mahogany Beach - St. Ann

This hidden gem located in Ocho Rios is another great spot to escape the summer heat. There are a lot of shaded areas on the property and the entry fee includes a lounge chair and umbrella. Boston Bay Portland, the home of Jamaican jerk is also home of the idyllic Boston Beach. This magnificent beach is located only a stone's throw away from the Boston Jerk Centre.
